Bret Charlesworth

A great communicator, organized, and hardworking are the top qualities Bret Charlesworth would use to characterize himself as a veteran real estate agent. Exposed to the industry from an early age, Bret grew up in Ogden, Utah, watching his father own and operate a brokerage of his own.

Bret earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Weber State University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Before entering the world of real estate, he worked as vice president of sales and marketing for various companies. During this time, he honed his negotiation skills, routinely handling and negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts. Bret identified a desire to engage with clients on a more personal level and eventually decided to pursue a career in real estate, following in his father's footsteps.

Bret joined Summit Sotheby's International Realty in 2019, Utah's first real estate agency with its own in-house marketing and advertising teams, professional photography and videography, legal and transaction management, accounting, and more. He was drawn to the company's ability to provide an unequaled luxury experience for any property regardless of location, price point or size, which allowed Bret to focus on providing his clients with luxury real estate services backed by the global reach and power of the Sotheby's International Realty brand.

Bret received the Rookie of the Year award for helping 42 clients buy or sell their homes in his first year of real estate. His success continued to prosper after that; Bret has been awarded the REALTOR® 500 Award (recognizing him as one of the top 500 agents on the Salt Lake Board of REALTORS®) for the past four years and counting. He has also been recognized for being one of RealTrends + Tom Ferry America's Best Real Estate professionals in the state of Utah.
